Am I missing something or does this plugin not give users the option to subscribe to email via our mailchimp accounts? Id like to use this but currently using wp-leads to add opt-in's to comment forms and registration. Does this plugin not do that as well? Id rather not install 2 plugins. Thanks in advance.

Hey there, rythmdoctor!
To clarify, slightly, Social isn't necessarily going to be connected directly to your MailChimp lists in your account. Instead, what it does is integrate your social media sites in tighter with your WordPress installation. In turn, it also can fetch replies to your post on Twitter or Facebook and bring those in as new comments on your blog.
Social isn't necessarily meant to add commenters to your MailChimp lists, but rather allow your viewers more flexibility when commenting by allowing them to log in as their Facebook, Twitter, or local accounts.

Posted 4 months ago #Oh I know, and it's a great tool, but why not add mailchimp integration, especially into the comment form feature, which is really the best part about social plugin if you ask me. You know, combine the leads plugin with this one. I would think that would be a fairly easy integration and it seems to make no sense to me that you'd have a plugin, that greatly enhances the commenting form, but doesnt add comment users's emails (when opting in) to the mailchimp account holder... More emails, more $$ for mailchimp. PLUS, us publishers want more subscribers and better email newsletter list capture integrations. What do ya think?
