It is posible to do a login as wp-admin user when logging in with the same email address.

1-. You have to know the wp-admin's email address.
2-. You have to run an openid provider.
3-. Register an identity in that provider with the wp-admin's email address.
4-. Go to an article and try to comment using the identity provider you own.

I checked this out by a couple of facebook accounts.

So, Social Connect shouldn't be used until this issue is fixed.

Also, you can disable OpenID in "Settings | Social Connect" until a new release is available.

    Patux,

Currently ... I can see that the system is Identifying the network id whether it's email is matching with other account. If new Openid's mail id matched to old account, It automatically loads the old account. I liked this automated account mapping functionality. Is that what you requested?

    Thenbrent,

Is there any chance to mingle a new Social Network/Openid to other account from the Admin panel(Like Janrain and Gigya Does). SO that we can add all the social networks to one account?

    Thank you!

    Thenbrent,

    Now I understand what ' @patux ' said .

I will wait for the fix in new version , Or I will try to fix it myself

    Thanks !

There isn't really any way to trust a generic OpenID provider on the consumer end, so we've removed the generic option completely and are only offering integration with trusted OpenID providers.
