Is there a way for me to hide a menu item from unregistered users based on the category restrictions I've set up already?
I already have social access set to restrict posts associated with a specific category. Now I'd like to add a category menu item to my main menu, but not have it appear unless a user is logged in.

Did you have any luck with this bcotton? This plugin would do everything I need if it could hide the categories from the menu unless the right user is logged in.

I didn't. I ended up creating a separate menu. One for logged in users and one for non logged in users. It just means I have to manage two menus instead of one.
