Hi, I am struggling to see where i can add URL links to the icons. New to this so probably the most basic answer but have been struggling for a little while.
Anyone can help that would be great.

I think the way Sociable works is that it automatically assigns URL of the current story (Page/Post) to the icons. So you don't need to worry about that at all.
