• I am able to get the plugin to work, in general – for easy stuff, like printing a date or something – but not for something a bit more complicated, like accessing the $wpdb database object.

I put in a support request at the forum, also:
    http://urbangiraffe.com/support/topic/cant-get-wpdb-access-to-work

The error is the what you get when you have a syntax error, but I know the code works in other things – like in templates, and in sidebar widgets – so if it’s just a usage thing, then I need to find out how not to use it.

  • WARNING – I was looking through my 404 error log and found this line – /wordpress-loop/wp-content/plugins/sniplets/modules/syntax_highlight.php

I thought it a little strange as I don’t have this plugin installed – Googled it up and almost first result was a security warning about multiple security vulnerabilities in version 1.1.2

USE SNIPLETS PLUGIN WITH EXTREME CAUTION – I’D ADVISE YOU CONTACT THE DEVELOPER TO DISCUSS FURTHER!!

I don’t know what version you are using, but the site with that error on is a fairly quiet site, so I guess the script kiddies are hunting for sites running this plugin!
