[Plugin: Smilies Themer Toolbar] Not working

I have the plugin and it works when posting a post or page in my dashboard but if they are trying to comment on a post you can see the toolbar, you can hover over the images and see the code but if you click it it just takes you up to the top of the comments. It does not put the smilie in the comment. Any idea what might be causing this? Let me know if you need more info
