   Basically that works fine!

   BUT the link "show complete archive" (in my case it's in german) just links to the main page

   That's a separate issue.

   Does it happen on all pages where SAR is loaded?

   Are you passing any parameters to the shortcode?

   I just use the shortcode in the widget, nothing else

   While I agree that a widget with UI for all the options would be better than using a shortcode, I do not have the time to implement it.

   So, I'm afraid you'll have to look elsewhere. Maybe try one of these sites:
