[resolved] [Plugin: SlimStat] Changed Capability to edit_dashboard and now can't log in (2 posts)

I'm using SlimStat and was trying to change the capability on the Permissions tab to something that would only let Admins see the SlimStat dashboard. I put edit_dashboard in the capability box, and now, after logging out, I get a fatal error when trying to log back in as the admin. The error is as follows:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() in /home/content/64/5303764/html/member/wp-includes/capabilities.php on line 1187

How can I change this capability to something else (even back to read) so that I can log back in to my site?

    Thanks!

Sorry. I did a little more searching and found that this problem had been resolved with a new version of the plugin. See the following post:

[Plugin: WP SlimStat] problem after update to slimstat 2.8

I downloaded the newer version of the plugin from the link in the above post, renamed my current wp-slimstat folder to wp-slimstat-old, and uploaded the new wp-slimstat folder to my site. That seems to have done the trick.

    Thanks!
