   I'm getting the black images displayed after put the shortcode [slideshow gallery_id="1"]

   I use the uploaded image from computer

   Please help me.

   Exactly what I am seeing, no matter what shortcode is used.

   Big shame because it looks neat otherwise.

   I was having the same issues. If wordpress is installed in a subdirectory the path to display the images isn't correct.

   Thanks nexe.

   That fixed the problem for me. I got it working by moving the image folder because I couldn't figure out where to change the path.

   wordpress is in the root and same problem. It's multi-sites.

   I was so hopeful this would work, but it did not work for me. Any other fixes? I am running wordpress 3.4.1 and just get black box where slideshow should be and broken image on manage slides page in admin.
