Hmmm... Yes, I see it. It appears to be caused by the Skype script (written and maintained by Skype, not by me) inserting a flash object of 5x5 pixels to be able to autodetect Skype on a visitor PC.
Certainly is annoying. I'll test any options to get rid of that part of the script since it does not seem to be absolutely needed and only there for some kind of backward compatibility (wonder why because it has never been there before)...
There is a new version coming up soon :)
Chris, I added some code to the script provided by Skype in an attempt to hide the little white square. It is actually something being discussed on the Skype forums too. See for example http://forum.skype.com/index.php?showtopic=641903&st=0&gopid=2968253&#entry2968253
Please upgrade to version 2.8.2
The approach I have chosen, is a bit different than suggested on the Skype forums. I have tested so far only on Opera/Linux and IE8/Windows XP. Please let me know if you still get that white square and in what OS and what browsers.
Thanks :)
Ravanh... thx... I actually upgraded your plugin... the square is gone :-)
...hmmm still the page (myblogtrainer.de) is not loading 100% anymore!
What do you think about that?
I'm using the actual MacOS, Firefox 3.6.8 and Safari 5.0.1 (5533.17.8).
When I look at your site, it loads 100% just fine. However, I did make a very small change to get rid of a javascript error (not worth a complete new version) so you might try to re-install version 2.8.2 and see if that changes anything... Maybe Mac will not reach 100% when it gets an error thrown in javascript?
is it enough to deactivate the plugin and activate it again, or do I have to delete it and download it again?
btw. if you look precisely at the load bar of you browser, you can see it. Tried it with different computers and systems. I actually found out it's not your tool... so... sorry, sorry, sorry!
