   how can i remove these dotted lines under the status pictures? Here an example.

   do other links have that dotted line? then that would be your themes CSS doing that... you might make an exception for that dotted line by adding something like this to your style.css stylesheet:

   .skype_widget a { border-bottom:none; }

   Let me know if that doesn't work out.
