Skype Online Status plugin does not show most changes to status. It stays stuck in "online" status when you are offline. Deleting the plugin because of this.

This problem is not caused by the plugin but by slow Skype servers... Nothing I can do about it, sorry.

Well, I may return and play more with it--I like the plugin. A few minutes off could perhaps be OK. But if it tells potential clients I am available on Skype, and then I don't answer because in fact I haven't been near the computer since yesterday, I risk losing business....

Normally, your status should update within seconds. Then the Expires Headers that come with the status image from the Skype server are max 5 minutes... Meaning in normal circumstances, your status would be up to date within 5 minutes for everybody and for most sooner than that.
But sometimes I hear about the Skype server 'missing' a status change and not updating your status. I have no idea how long a wrong status could theoretically stay active.
It's out of my hands. Sorry about that. You might want to ask about the "slow status changes for Skype Buttons" issue on the Skype forums.
