[Plugin: Skitter Slideshow] How to display posts' excerpts?

Hi,

I’m trying to modify the original Skitter Slideshow plugin to meet my client’s requirements and show the featured post excerpt on the current slide. The original plugin only shows the title. I’ve been trying to add a proper function to the wp-skitter-slideshow.php, but it doesn’t work properly so far. Any suggestion will be appreciated.
