    Hi,

I don’t know what happened but plugin was working fine until I changed the homepage/front page to a static page. Later decided to revert back to original front/homepage and when I did, simply exclude stopped working. It is now showing posts from specific categories on homepage despite the fact that they are ‘excluded’. I assumed it is still considering static page (that I had set before reverting back to original one) as the front/homepage…Any help/suggestion?

    Thanks

to you both please try the latest beta. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2616987/projects/wp-plugins/simply-exclude/simply-exclude-2.0.4Beta1.zip

The plugin does work but there is some issues depending on the theme. The major issue is some themes rework the main Loop. This seems to be especially true for the home page. The themes seems to just run their own query.

The plugin was designed to only effect the main query (wp_query) for the page. So that other queries like those for nav and other sections of the page would not automatically be effects.

The 2.0.4 beta 1 has an option on the simply Exclude > Settings panel for each Taxonomy. This option will let you filter the main query only or all queries.

Please give this a try and reply back here.
