There is a premium version available on my website:
http://www.mikevanwinkle.com/simplr-registration-form-plus
However, I will be updating the free version soon to include this in the default features.
It ‘s a great Plug-in. However, I still cannot let users create their own password immediately. I have changed the option into “yes” in simplr_reg_options.php, but there is no additional field in the form.
What to do?
Perhaps there is need for a small explanation, because I dit not receive any respons 🙂
I use the newest version and noticed that the option to let users set their own password was added. That is just what I need!
However, I did not obtain the option in my settings, so I changed line 16 of simplr_reg_options.php in ‘password’ : ‘yes’. But nothing happended.
So I need some help. What do I have to do?
Hi dolf, can you send me a link to your site?
Mike
Hi Mike, thank you for your reaction.
The site-link is: http//www.opendag.nu
The site is under construction, so the password is: testingwp
You can see the reg-form under: http://www.opendag.nu/index.php/wachtwoord-aanvraag/

Hi Mike,
Did you have a look at the website? If so, I wonder if you can help me now with the problem mentioned earlier.
Dolf
@dolf h I what shortcode are you using. can you paste it here exactly as you have it in your site?
Hi Mike,
I use two shortcodes in two pages:
[Register role=”editor”]
[Register role=”author”]
Dolf
Try [Register role=”author” password=”yes”]
It works, but the new author/editor receives an email without any content.
How to fix that?
