   SimpleMap is a really great "store locator" plugin. i love it. just one thing: although the language files for german are placed correctly, not all phrases and terms are translated. Especially the search box text in the front end is not translated "Please enter an address or search term in the box above" (while the german text is available in the language file). I already disabled all plugins, but that doesn't solve the problem.

   Any hints?

   Thanks for this update,
   I've recently taken over development of the plugin and it is under massive refactoring right now. I'll have a look at this to see what the problem is. Thank you.

   Glenn,

   I am wondering if there is any way some of us users could become more involved in the development on this plugin, as a way to say thanks to you for continuing development and to better keep track of changes, bugs and the like.

   I know there is the tenderapp page, but this isn't a well organized list and sometimes I feel like people just report similar problems, request similar features and the like.

   Sorry if this sounds like a complaint or a rant, I am not a skilled PHP developer myself but most problems I have encountered with the plugin or basic features I have wanted I have gone ahead and tweaked on my own.

   I was going to just post another bug I found here (while Google regional domain is selectable, modifying this does not change the linguistic function used by Google Maps to indicate looking up directions, so in other languages besides English instead of using the operator 'A "to" B' to get directions from the inputted address, it simply looks up 'A to B' as a location) but I figured maybe there could be a better way to organize the process of bug reporting and feature requesting.

   Let me know what you think, and if there is any way myself and others could help.

   Hi Guys,
   I started a french translation with the codestyling localization plugin, the .po and .mo files are created but it seems that they are not working...
   is there any way to make it work ?
