When I tried adding new locations, nothing happened - they didn't save, apparently.

    Hi Mitchell,
What version of the plugin are you using?

I'm using The newest version - just downloaded from WordPress.org on 12/26.

Adding a new location appeared to be like adding new posts. After I entered the info and saved, I was taken to another blank post entry screen. When I tried to View Locations, none appeared.

I'm having the same problem. It's seems to be saving them to the database but there's nothing on the map.

    WP Version 3.0.4

We are using WordPress 3.0.4. and Version 2.0

Adding locations is working for me, however this is an upgraded install from the previous version of Simple map. Is yours a fresh install?

Looks like the last time Glen was posting was "Monday December 27th, 2010"

I've got a search/broken link problem myself with the new version.

I actually discovered the problem on my own. I already had a Google Map on the website and was calling the Google Maps API in the header. After removing it SimpleMap started working. So there must have been a conflict by calling the API twice.

    Hi all,
There are several things that can cause this. Here are a couple:

    • Other plugins or themes manually inserting jQuery or google map api calls instead of enqueueing them.
    • Other plugins or themes adding content manually to every page load
    • Low memory on your server

    Things to try:

    Hope that helps.
