• Hi Otto,

Thanks for your help with SFC yesterday, now I’ve gone and broken my STC! I stupidly revoked access to STC and now can’t undo it! Tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling it, resetting my auth keys and so on but doesn’t properly delete the data and so when i click connect to twitter it says
    Woah there!

This page is no longer valid. It looks like someone already used the token information you provided. Please return to the site that sent you to this page and try again … it was probably an honest mistake.

Twitter Dev forum’s answer to this is below, but I’m not sure where/how to make this happen. Have tried clicking ‘create access token’ from twitter app side but nothing really happens, Can you shed any light on this?

You can’t undo the revocation of access, you can only re-negotiate it. The strings used in access tokens are dependent on a particular instance of access — they do not represent the boolean fact of access.

Verify that you’re using the correct keys in the application. Completely go through the OAuth process again for the user account you need to grant access for and store the resultant tokens. If you used the my access token feature to obtain the token originally, use the recreate my access token feature and use the access token results (but be sure and give some time for the access token strings to update on the page..)

You should just be able to click the sign in with twitter button again to regrant access. It doesn’t use the same keys, it gets new ones every time.

If you have a caching plugin of some sort, that might be interfering in some way. Clear the cache.

If you’re using the login plugin, go to your user profile page in WP to find a sign in button.

If you’re using the publish plugin, there’s a couple of sign in buttons on the stc settings screen.

STC comes with many plugins. STC-Login and STC-Publish are the ones I was referring to.

Sorry I mean which plugin would be caching. I don’t have like a super cache plugin so if one of them IS caching, I have no idea which one/how to clear the cache
