   is this a bad joke?

   do you have a idea, how much people used the WP autoupdate and dont realized that most of the used features gone now?
   many many people use just st_related_posts() in there templates. all the sites now broken.

   version 2 is not a update, its a completely other plugin.
   removed on all my blogs

   i removed mine two days ago. i can't afford waiting so long for a functional update :o

   What I did was to deactivate the plugin, then delete it. Upload the previous version 1.8 from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/simple-tags.1.8.zip via the /wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=upload
