   I would like to automatically replace certain words with a link to an affiliate.

   For example, replace the word "Linux" with a link to my Amazon affiliate URL in all my posts.

   I was told that Simple Tags could do it but I cant see how. Or is there a better way?

   the linking function is broken

   but the way it links is to the tag page

   once the "link to tag" is fixed I'll be so very very happy

   try the plugin "SEO Smart Links"!
