Although the idea for this plugin is great, the execution is horrendous at best!

And people who don't have a clue to edit a plugin will be left with something non-functional.

Probably that is the reason why so far only 74 people have downloaded your plugin and that is after it has been plugged on WPMU...

So what is wrong with this plugin?

    1. date as mentioned in other thread
    2. spelling: Privacy Act or Piracy Act???
    3. spelling: two bills which will allow the govorment to censor the intenet
    4. not internationalized

Ever heard of a spell-checker, because these words actually do get a red line under them when written the way you write them.

Thanks for the feedback. The version 1.3 fixes 3 of the 4 issues above. To be honest, this plugin was written for use on my personal sites and I decided to release it as GPL to help others.

And people who don't have a clue to edit a plugin will be left with something non-functional.

This was intentional, I wanted to write a simple plugin with no need for settings.

It would be great if instead of complaining about spelling and poor execution you wrote a patch, or forked the plugin, or explained how you might do it better. I find these actions go further than snarky comments about spell checkers and red underlines.

For a plugin that would not have a shelf-life of only 5 days, I would probably have written a patch and sent that over to you (or forked it and released that myself).

However, if you are releasing a plugin with the whole purpose of joining the initiative to blackout websites on January 18, 2012 and with massive spelling mistakes, I find it worth a "snarky comment" to point that out.

Anyways, problem marked as resolved and rating adjusted.
