hi, i'm using version 2.1.4 (of simple sidebar navigation plugin) as a widget in a sidebar, and doctype of the pages is
!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"
and it seems it doesn't have the option 'Custom Links Target Attribute', although i've checked it on its settings..
what is wrong?
thanks already!

When you turn on the target attribute in the plugin settings, it will add an additional selector - Link Target in the widget editor. Make sure you select "blank" and then add custom link. You have to select the target each time you add a new link. I just change tested it on my own blog with 2.1.4 version of the plugin and it works for me.

I'm having this same problem. when I turn on the target option, every link in my sidebar nav goes to "blank"...even if I add each link individually it still makes them all go out to blank pages. help?
I'm using 2.1.4 with WordPress 3.0.1

Hi Jason,
I'm using the same version of the Simple SideNav plugin on my own site. I just added 2 links got Google and Yahoo. Google with target attribute "blank" and Yahoo - "self" - both work as intended and none of the existing links have changed. So, I can't reproduce the issue you're reporting.
If you wish, you can grant me a temporary admin access to your site and I'll take a look. You can email me the access details directly at max@phoenixhomes.com
