I’m working on a WordPress site for a title company, so I don’t need all the goodies included in the SRE pack. But I did go ahead and get all the API codes and installed and configured the SRE pack without any issues.

However, I get a load error on the page that’s using the Closing Cost Calculator, whether as a widget or within the actual page itself.

I’m running WordPress 3.0 with a Thesis theme. I deactivated all of the other plug-ins for the site, leaving only the SRE plug-in active, and I still get the following error:

    Webpage error details
User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; Media Center PC 2.8; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729)

    URI: http://wrighttitleteam.com/wp-content/plugins/simple-real-estate-pack-4/js/srp-MortgageCalc.js

Any thoughts on what’s causing the error? It’s driving me bonkers!

Here’s the link to the site that has the widget installed:

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help!

    Hi valcon,

I noticed from the source code of the page you posted that you have 2 instances of jQuery library loading. The first one (is the default WP library) is in the header and the second one is in the footer, which is loading jQuery from Google Ajax API libraries. You need to eliminate the second one and see if that fixes the issue.

Remember to clear your cache and cookies just in case.

If that doesn't change, try deactivating the rest of the plugins and see that helps to narrow down the conflict.

Thanks for the response, it helped put me on the correct track. Thesis has some additional scripting options that you can activate under the design panel.

I unchecked the jQuery option, saved the changed ad cleared the cache/cookies and that resolved by browser scripting errors.

It works like a charm now!

Thanks again, it's an awesome widget for th real estate industry!
