   I'm using with these plugins:

   Works great.

   Now my question. What is the meta box in the right column, titled "Simple Fields" for? I understand the function of "Show custom field keys".

   But, what is the drop-down for when I've already set a default for the field group I want to appear in that post type?

   Sometimes - I use it this way anyway - you can have several post connectors for a post type. So I have one set for the contact page, one for "Our products" pages and another one for the startpage. Then you need to be able to select what connector to use for each post.
