   Maybe is not a bug of the plugin, but I'm posting this question here because I'm using it and i like it.

   Like I said in the title there is no image when I hit the share button and I cannot get a solution after 3 days searching on the internet.

   maybe I just need someone pointing me in the right direction..

   what I have tried: disabled every plugin, changed theme to default theme, tried to add meta tags manually.. nothing seems to work. I'm lost.

   what am I doing wrong?

   update: it's weird, I cannot share even the images directly entering the url of the picture on facebook it des not come up

   this is surely not a problem with SFC, but if you have any suggestion I will be very pleased..

   Facebook tends to want answers now. If it tries to pull the page from your site, and it takes longer than a couple of seconds, then it gives up.

   There is no cure except to make your site faster in general.

   thank you very much Otto for your answer ( and your plugin)

   I think I cannot make it faster if facebook cannot load a 300px jpg image, not even using the direct-link on my facebook wall. If you are sure this is the problem in my case I will consider moving to a different host provider...

   ok problem solved, it was a dns issue.
