Interesting my other post for the conflict with the Simple Facebook Connect issue is marked as resolved, since I still have the Simple Facebook Connect issue.

I looked through your code a bit. Seems you're doing a lot of manipulation to the content, especially when it's a single post. Which is where the problem lies.

Also interesting, is the fact that this plug-in:

works great. No issues. My ads show. So, does that mean they are doing things wrong too?

If SFC doesn't work for you, then I would suggest that you use the other plugin instead.

I looked through your code a bit. Seems you're doing a lot of manipulation to the content, especially when it's a single post. Which is where the problem lies.

The content isn't actually manipulated at all, it's being retrieved.

The problem actually lies in other plugins that are not expecting the content to be retrieved outside of the case where it's also being displayed in the main Loop. See, SFC isn't *displaying* the content in any way, but it does have to actually get it in order to scan it for images, videos, audio, and then to build the metadata for Facebook. When other plugins don't behave properly and assume that the_content is only called once per pageview, or assume that they can produce output during a filter, or do something like have a side-effect during the filter call, then weird behavior occurs. This is a generic problem with other plugins making invalid assumptions. Calling a filter (specifically, the_content filter) should produce reproducible results with no side-effects, and several other plugins don't do that properly.
