I suppose this is more of a Facebook question than a WordPress question, but do you know of any reason why I wouldn't be able to create a Facebook App for this page:

This is a client of mine, and I'm trying to link their new blog to this Facebook account, but we can't seem to access the page to create a new app. Anytime I go to it, it just takes me back to my home page on Facebook. Can you not create apps for Organization pages? Seems like I've seen them before, but I could be wrong.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!!

Apps are separate from Pages. You don't need to create an App connected to the Page at all, really.
Just go to https://developers.facebook.com/apps and create your new App there. The connection to the Page happens later, and not via Facebook in any real way.
The "app" is merely a connection point for the outside blog to connect to Facebook. It's an identifier. It must exist, but it doesn't actually do anything other than exist and provide that connection.
My point is, what in my account, when I try to go to https://developers.facebook.com/apps it just sends me back to the home page. Or, rather, the main profile page for the company. Is there something we're missing to get access to that page? This seems to be the only one I've ever had trouble setting up. I set them up in my personal FB page all the time.

You must use a persons account to create an app. Business accounts can't do it. Use the account of a human being, business accounts are nonsense that nobody really uses.
Boy that really does make it a huge pain to do this kind of work for people, doesn't it? My thought is always what if the person attached to the app quits the job? I suppose you start over, but it's annoying.

Once an app is created, multiple admins can be assigned to it, thus spreading it out amongst a group of people or team, if you don't want to put all the eggs in a single person's basket.
