Hi everybody. Thanks Otto for this beautiful plugin. My question is very easy: why it doesn't publish (in profile or page) the excerpt but the first part of the content?
Maybe a conflict with another plugin as descripted here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-simple-facebook-connect-a-few-questions?replies=12 ?

The excerpt tends to go through processing that makes it look bad on FB, actually. So it builds its own excerpt. Considering the goal is to drive traffic back to your site from where you publish it on FB, this makes more sense than trying to clean up the excerpt.

Which file do I have to edit to make SFC use the excerpt when posting to a Facebook Fanpage??! Our Team always uses excerpts as they are required by our theme, so it would be a pity not to use them on FB.
