Auto Posting to Facebook (6 posts)

    I have installed 1.2 onto a clean install of wordpress 3.3.1 . I have connected it to my facebook account via an application that I recently created for this new site.

    I can not get the auto posting of new posts to post to my facebook account. However after I do publish the post to my wordpress account, I do see the blue "Publish to your facebook profile" and that button does work.

    Is there something I am missing?

    Thanks

    Auto posting is a separate process than the manual posting button.

    Do you have the tokens on the settings screen? Have you granted permissions and saved? I know the UI here sucks... working on it.

    Yes I have done both of those. At the bottom of the settings page I have the two green bars that say;

    User ID and Access Token found! Automatic profile publishing is ready to go!
    Application Access Token found! Automatic application wall publishing is ready to go!

    Just wanted to check in to see if you had any other ideas? I tried your development build from last night and still no luck.

    I don't know what to tell you. It works for me and others. I made a post 30 minutes ago that went to my personal profile and fan page just fine. We use SFC here on WordPress.org for the News blog cross-posting to Facebook. It works.

    Here is something that I just thought of and thought I'd run it by you to see what you thought. I have another wordpress site on the same IIS box. With that I am using another plugin to post to facebook. Even though it is an win2008 machine I had to edit the curl part of the plugin to ignore the ssl certificate because it was complaining about an invalid certificate.

    Could this plugin be silently complaining about the same thing?
