Plugin Simple Events by jgrietveld – shortcode on page moves to top. HELP?

So I installed Simple Events by jgrietveld and it’s great except when I add the shortcode it takes precedence to anyone info on the page and goes to the top of the page. Does anyone know why or how I can fix this? I’ve tried inline css to position it with no luck. Nothing in the plugin js suggest positioning at all.
