Have you followed all the instructions?
e.g. have you included <!– simple_archive –>
I absolutely love this plugin and it works perfetly in 2.3.3. I’ve ben unable to get anything at all in 2.5….any ideas?

I followed the instructions. I placed the <!– simple_archive –> in my page, and nothing.
Problem Solved for me…
Don’t use the visual editor when putting in the code. WP 2.5 still has some bugs there.

Don’t forget to check the plug-in’s home page too.
I’ve found that the visual editor seems to put non-space space characters in, this was probably the problem. So, I always refrain from using the visual editor
