[Plugin: SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam] "Human spam" comments – captcha or social login?

    Hi all,
    I have small family site. In spite of using the SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam with Aksimet anyway I have about 1-5 spam messages/per day. Spam come from different IPs. And I sure it is human captcha solver. In same time I would say that these plugins are good because real people try to send comments. In the other words these spammers messages will appear with other anti-spam plugins.
    I think to use a social login plugin to resolve this problem.

    Which disadvantages with using a social login plugin as antispam in comments?

    i am having the same problem; i am getting spam anyway depsite having si captcha installed. its annoying to keep having to go in and delete the spam and even more annoying to see that this plugin is no longer working or rather its working but bots or whatever have found away around it to spam my site with random comments. of course the comments never get posted because i moderate but i have to go in and delete the spam daily. my free hosting provider alerted me of it by suspending my web site until i took care of it. i was amazed to find over 300+ spam comments post all submitted in a day’s time that i had to go in and delete. i had si captcha enabled on login, comments and posts and i thought i had it all handled. but then it happened again and i had to move my website to a paid host because of the spam; my free hosting provider says because of all the spamming, the database got too large for its servers. is there any fix to this or do i need to just find another plugin that works?
