  • Yes with the class setting on the settings page.
What is the URL to your page with the problem?

This sounds like what I am dealing with right now. Not a php expert. The style of the other form fields and accompanying text is not carrying into SI CAPTCHA.

I am using Suffusion Theme, example page at http://nonahyytinen.com/ladyfinger-cake

Trying to find a solution myself, hopefully you will not see the problem should you care to look. Thanks for any help!

    GetSirius,

I can add a feature to make this easy in the next version. I already have the setting:
“CSS class name for CAPTCHA input field on the comment form:”
there you need to add: “textarea”

I need to add a new setting:
“CSS class name for CAPTCHA label on the comment form:”
there you need to add: “fancy”

Yes, thank you. I figured it was like that and was/am planning on trying find the places to edit, tonight. Any idea of when you might have this new version out?

Maybe tonight or tomorrow. It is complicated a little bit by having the form support buddypress and more than one version. ughh…

    Thanks!

Just a note, I realize this is due to the theme I am using but maybe something for you to consider. The text “CAPTCHA Code” is too long for the available space in my theme. Maybe text saying something like “enter the figures you see in the image” can be put after the text input box?
    Like this:

On the settings page, all labels can be renamed. You can change that label to just “CAPTCHA” or “Code”.
Thanks for the suggestion. I might consider it, but not every theme or version of WP is configured the same. One small change can take hours of compatibility testing.

Sounds like a lot of work, thank you for the plugin. If this cuts her spam I will see if my client will send a few dollars your way.

Could you give me some instruction?
    Have a good day.

I need to update my plugin to be able to set the colors. I have to find the time, in a day or two a new version will be out. Then I will reply and let you know how to set the setting.

I have made improvements in the latest version. I think I made it easier to fix the problems reported here.

    = 2.6.4 =
    – (19 Jan 2011) – Added more settings for setting CAPTCHA input field and label CAPTCHA input field CSS. These settings can be used to adjust the CAPTCHA input field to match your theme.
    See FAQ Page
    http://www.fastsecurecontactform.com/si-captcha-comment-form-css
    – Added new setting: “CAPTCHA input label position on the comment form:” Changes position of the CAPTCHA input labels on the comment form. Some themes have different label positions on the comment form.
    Also these two new settings
CSS style for Small CAPTCHA Image DIV:
CSS style for Large CAPTCHA Image DIV:
