  • I’m using WP 3.0.1 and the plugin works just fine (minus the shortcode for the stats page).

at jcgreen81, do you know why the flasplayer mostly get in a stop and go mode?
    do you know this problem?
the rest will be great and work fine at http://www.sonett77.com

ok i have the plugin working but I cannot find a way of getting the winamp/windows player and other links to either go below the actual player. So this means i cannot put it in the place i want as the box surrounding it takes up most of the page..

    Hi Tommie,

I just set it to one of the FF players and in the sidebar the icons show up underneath the player.

However I can’t even get this thing to work at all!

It constantly says the stream is down but I can find the stream if I put the url in directly in the browser.

Just wondering how you configured yours – I’m using icecast and I’ve set the domain to http://mydyndnsdomain.info
I’ve set the port up correctly and the mountpoint is /stream.ogg…

Ok, I changed the domain and removed the http://
I removed the / in the mountpoint and it seems to be connecting now
    It doesn’t say Desconnected.

    However, there is no sound….
The icecast admin area shows that there is a connection

Really want this to work – can’t find any other icecast player for wordpress!

I am using Shoutcast so not sure what the difference is with icecast.. probably not much difference.
I am also using a third party to serve my stream ( listen2myradio(dot)com ).
I managed to get the text above the player as i am using it in a page rather than using the sidebar. It would be usefull to get it below the player though or even get rid of the text all together.

With shoutcast and a third party server the set up is very easy.

    1. set up an account with listen2myradio.com ( free ).
    2. they supplie you with the ip address and port to fill in under shoutcast.
    3. set the page you want to use shout stream in wordpress and add the ip address for your server as in #2 and port. Save and that’s it.

well, iv tryed many infos in the stream, ip, domain, url entryes.. but all got me a soundless player. since the blog is off, and the faq has nothing, can please anyone point here some examples on how to fill up a regular icecast station?

    best regards
