[Plugin: Short URL Plugin] Redirects to wrong place after set link url

v2.7.1 doesn’t seem to work if you create a link url after checking the htaccess box and update settings. I had one of my newly created short links being redirected to a completely different page! Also, if I used ‘link/$1′ then my shortcut was redirected to the ‘http://mysite/links’ page (which shows an existing page of my site that has my favourite URLs in it).

Any plans to fix these issues soon?

By the way, I would have expected the settings for this plugin to be under ’settings’ not under ‘plugins’.
