Yes, multiple accounts should be fine. Can you let me know the URL you tried to enter?
Hi Mike,
Here is the link I was pasting in the Shashin Tools area:
https://picasaweb.google.com/fcartlidge/LadiesSuperHeroNight
And the plugin responds with: That is not a valid URL for your Picasa server.
Thanks,
Fene
Try to use http://
instead https://
A little progress – now I receive a different error.
ShashinAlbum::setAlbum – Failed to parse album feed.
What next? Thanks for your help!
The input field is labeled RSS URL. On the Shashin tools page, please click “Examples” which shows what the RSS URL looks like and where to find it on your Picasa album page.
I am using Shashin 2.6.3. The tools section says:
Add Albums
Please enter the URL for your “My Photos” page on Picasa if you want to add all your public albums to Shashin, or enter the URL of an individual album. Use the regular URL, not the RSS URL.
The URL should have one of these formats:
http://picasaweb.google.com/username OR http://picasaweb.google.com/username/albumname
As I was only adding that one album I was using the individual URL per the instructions. When I put in the RSS URL of: https://picasaweb.google.com/data/feed/base/user/fcartlidge/albumid/5713491590880303745?alt=rss&kind=photo&authkey=Gv1sRgCM7IwK7Q-dv3sQE&hl=en_US
The error then says: That is not a valid URL for your Picasa server.
Sorry if I am not getting what you are saying. In 2.6.3 there was no Examples link to click on.
Thanks!
I have last version of plugin, Shashin 3.1.3 and can add your album if use link like this:
http://picasaweb.google.com/data/feed/base/user/fcartlidge/albumid/5713491590880303745?alt=rss&kind=photo&authkey=Gv1sRgCM7IwK7Q-dv3sQE&hl=en_US
I had been hesitant to upgrade the plugin as I did not want to lose my current photos. But I did upgrade and it looks good. Now the RSS works fine.
Thanks for all your help everyone!
