I don't know if my problem is in any way related to your problem, but several days ago, my ShareThis 4.1.0 plug-in in my WP 3.1.1 installation suddenly stopped working after having worked fine for several months.
During the last several days, I have not updated WP or any of my other WP plug-ins, so I am not sure why ShareThis suddenly stopped working.
I have just sent an email to the ShareThis folks at support@sharethis.com. Let's see if they respond with a solution.
I've got the same problem - the weird thing I noticed is that in the options where I should be able to "Click to view/modify the HTML tags." it gives me the php code instead, so if I paste it in the single page where I want it, of course nothing happens. If anyone finds a solution please post. The other solution posted (changing 2 lines of code) didn't fix this. thanks

Put one piece of code in the header and the other in the page template, and it finally showed up.
Hello Kiravae. Personally, I finally just got fed up with ShareThis, so I switched to the Sharedaddy and Sharedaddy More Control plug-ins instead.
After adding a little bit of CSS code to Sharedaddy's "sharing.css" file, Sharedaddy displays all of my social networking buttons -- I currently have 23 of them -- very nicely on the Endtime Prophecy Net Blog in a div box with rounded corners and gradient background, all neatly lined up in five rows, and with smaller icons.
You may want to have a look at Sharedaddy, and compare it with ShareThis, and then decide which you like more.
