    Hi,

Thanks for making this plugin and the tutorial guide.

I just need a few things cleared up.

    1. I'm confused as you have stated in your book:

"Create 16 databases, named 0-9, a-f and “global”"

    Isn't this 17 databases?

    2. Also you stated that for 4096 databases you should use your_prefix_000 and your_prefix_fff I'm confused...should i use your_prefix_001 your_prefix_002 your_prefix_003 and your_prefix_aaa your_prefix_aab and so on and so forth? What is the exact structure that I should use for 4096 databases? For instance should it be:

    your_prefix_000
    your_prefix_111
    your_prefix_222
    your_prefix_333
your_prefix_444 and so on and so forth

    as well as

    your_prefix_aaa
    your_prefix_bbb
    your_prefix_ccc
    your_prefix_ddd
    your_prefix_eee

etc etc for a total of 17 databases? Or do I have to create 4096 MYSQL databases? (that will be a lot of work :(

Can I update to 4096 databases easily from 16 or 256 or should I start with 4096?

If you could kindly answer these questions for me I would

Sorry, yes it is 17, 257 or 4097 databases.

    on 4096:

    _000
    _001
    _002
    ...
    _00a
    _00b
    ...
    _00f
    _010
    _011
    _012
    ...
    _01a
    _01b
    ...
    _01f
    _020
    _021
    _022
    ...
    _02a
    _02b
    ...
    _02f
    ...
    _100
    _101
    _102
    ...
    _10a
    _10b
    ...
    _10f

    16 x 16 x 16 = 4096. You have to cycle through 0-9,a-f in each of the 3 character positions.

Also, if you have to create the databases with cPanel I suggest you go with just 17 DBs. It would probably take you an hour or more to make 257.

Forgot this one - it is relatively easy to switch/migrate with a shell script. However, it does require a bit of down time or at least a minimum of time when the users won't be updating the site.
