[Plugin: SFC] Not working

When I activate the plugin, first of all the code I’ve added for Google +1 disappears in my share bar on the side… and before I add all the information and I click on the connect with facebook button, at least a dialog box opens up. Once I’ve added all the config info, clicking the connect with Facebook doesn’t do anything — Social Connect was giving me the same issue so perhaps the issue is related. Any ideaS?
