   How do i activate this feature? i have already activate it via the settings but i cannot see any counter :/

   phattrance, you need to be using the "new version"/beta version of the plugin to show Share Counters. Check the "use new version" option right on top of the admin menu.

   yes i tried that, but then the plugin wont show up on my blog :)

   it should be loaded under the twitter and facebook share. i have switched the new feature to on. if is switch if of, it will be visible again

   the api is empty but the media got a JS folder inside thats also empty

   That is the issue. the /js folder should contain a js file, and the /api folder a css and png file.

   Are these folders 777 or 755? if not, please correct the permissions and try re-saving your settings.

   i changed them to 777 and re-saved the settings but it still wont show :)

    Are the files I mentioned above located in the directories now? Unless they are there, the plugin won't have anything to show.

    Re-saving simply tries to copy over the custom files from our server again, but if permissions are not set then the copy will fail.

    no there are no files there at all, even after i re-save the settings or disable the plugin. the folders are set to 777

    any news about this yet? i still havent found a way to display the the counter. can i download the files manually from somewhere?

    phattrance, try the latest version of SB to see if that fixes things.

    Had the new version on. Just updated the plugin today.
    It stopped showing up.
    Switched to old version now - it showed up but counters don't work anymore

    Can you please try the following:

    a) chmod 775 the /spritegen directory
    b) switch back to new version
    c) re-save your settings

    After you re-save your settings there should be files in the /spritegen directory.

    Let us know how it goes!

    I didn't work. And I had files in that directory prior to changing to 775

    Can you try 777. Some servers can be fussy (ex. MediaTemple)

    It shows up after I activate "new" format and refresh the page but then when I refresh that page/post again - dissapears.

    Can you try deleting your browser cache and trying again?

    We just released a potential fix. Can you try "re-saving" your SexyBookmarks settings again to pull the latest JS file?

    I can't access my wp-content now. Would you go back to where it was so I can deactivate the plugin first. (I deleted it from File Manager but nothing helps)
    Did you do anything there?

    Nevermind, I was able to get back now. Will try to reinstall plugin now

    We didn't touch anything on your server. (we don't have access! :)

    On re-saving, just the latest JS file should have been pulled and saved in your /spritegen folder.
