   Hello,

   I'm using SEO-Ultimate 6.9.8 and I want to assign one meta description for each category.

   Unfortunately, the meta description I'm putting is not over riding the default google meta description.

   Is this a bug and can it be fixed?

   What do you mean by "Default Google Meta Description"?

   Are you referring to the site description that Google shows on the Search Engine Results Page?

   If yes, then there is not much an SEO plugin can do about that. Google's algorithm decides what to show as the site description. Sometimes it can pick up the page's Meta Description, but often it doesn't.
