Nobody has a workaround for this? I would hate to have 50+ pages with the exact same description… 🙁

SEO Ultimate does this by default. If it isn’t working anymore, go to SEO > Meta Descriptions, click the “Reset” link next to “Pagination Description Format”, click OK when asked to confirm, and click “Save Changes”.
If you don’t see a box that says “Pagination Description Format”, try upgrading to the latest version of SEO Ultimate.

In that case, Meta Description Editor should be adding “page 2” etc. to the end of your meta descriptions. Are you sure that the meta descriptions you’re looking at are generated by SEO Ultimate? Do they have comment tags around them that say “SEO Ultimate”?
Well the meta description is just blank.
My template (inreview from eleganttheme.com) has some builtin SEO functions but I have disabled everything I could in the theme options…

Could you please post a screenshot of what the <head>
code of your site looks like?
You mean the <head> code of the specific page? From SEO Ultimate admin page or from the actual page that users visit?

The actual page that users visit

http://www.smokeless-cigarettes-guide.com/author/admin/page/2
It is just giving me a blank meta desciption
Really strange if you ask me… No one who can help me???

SEO Ultimate supports meta descriptions for posts/pages/attachments/custom post types/categories/tags/custom taxonomies/blog homepage, but not author archive pages at this time. That’s why it’s not outputting a meta description on your author archive page.
That explains it 🙂
Thanks for your help John….
