   Hello,

   I know this question has already been asked many times, but there wasn't any answer helping to solve the problem. Here is the problem in question : in the first tab of the Meta Description Editor, I kept the default {excerpt} in the "Post description format" field but no meta description is displayed in any of the my website pages... What should I do to make these metas working ?

   How can we use the meta descriptions as an excerpt for our pages?

   @Cisco75: The {excerpt} tag will pull whatever's in the "Excerpt" field of the post/page. If an excerpt does not exist, SEO Ultimate does not "auto-generate" one (yet) -- however, this feature is coming soon for those who want it.

   same problem here

   there should be some code like {excerpt} which automatically
   get excerpt from post/page content
