   After installing seo ultimate i went to the Title tag rewriter to set custom titles for my categories.

   After entering the data when i click submit, i noticed couple of the category titles were not being saved. the input fields are just blank.
   i tried multiple times but the same error is happening

   Any idea why this is happening?

   bump. the issue is still there in the latest version 6.9.8

   I am having the same exact issue.

   Some of the category titles are saved, but others are not. Using the latest version.

   What are the names of the categories whose custom title tags don't save?

   Some of the category names that won't save are Browser MMORPG, Fantasy MMO, and Free MMORPG.

   Examples of category names that did save are Action & Adventure MMO and Free Online MMORPG.

   I could understand if they ALL didn't work, but it's confusing that some did save while others didn't in the same session.

   If you have any more questions or suggestions, I am happy to answer and try anything.

   Thanks MotiveKyle. Another question: Does your site have tags that share the same names as the categories that aren't saving? That is, does your site have both a category and a tag named "Fantasy MMO," for example? Or are they the names of categories only?

   Yup, just looked through and any category that is also a tag does not save. The ones that aren't tags are working. Any idea how to remedy this?

   Hi John,

   Examples of the category names include
   Home and Family, Pregnancy and Parenting, Sex and Relationships, Beauty and Fashion.

   the tags will not say the exact phrase, but will say, pregnancy, parenting etc...

   Hi John,

   Just a followup to confirm it is now working fine.

   What i did was to remove SEO Ultimate, flush the database and then removed all tags that had the category names.

   Then i installed the plugin, entered the data and voila, it works perfectly fine.
