[resolved] Plugin section missing from admin panel (3 posts)

Recently I tried to embed a video using iframes only to realize that it just doesn't work. Some googling revealed that the solution is a plugin, however, I just have no idea how to install one. The guides point towards a Plugins section in the admin panel and it's supposed to be underneath the Appearance section. Unfortunately, it isn't there.

I also tried to look for information about which version of WordPress I'm using, but apparently that information is nowhere to be found. I assume it's the latest one as it's hosted on their own service, though.

Could someone kindly explain what could be going on here?

You can't install plugins as you are using WordPress.com, not self-hosted WordPress
