   Is it easy to make the plugin search for just whole words instead of partial bits.

   So a search for 'spa' would not return any pages containing the word 'spanish'.

   Maybe an option in the plugin settings for the future.

   But is there a way to fix this in the meantime?

   You probably need another plugin. Search Meter only gathers search statistics. It doesn't affect the actual searches.

   I'll bet there is a search plugin out there that does what you want. If you use another plugin to do whole word searches, you should still be able to use Search Meter as well.
