When I select the 'Search every tag name' check box in the Search Everything (latest version) options page, searching on our site slows down to a crawl. As soon as I deselect and submit, searching speed returns to normal.
Perhaps the newest version of this plugin isn't handling tag searched correctly?
Any one else have similar issues?

Speed of the query response on your database relies heavily on your server and your data. You may have a lot of tags and it's taking a long time for your db to finish, that's why it takes so long.
My site has a ton of comments, that's why I don't turn on comment searching.
All you can do is make sure your DB is optimized and give your server a boost.

I figured it was a DB config issue with the tags - our host was experiencing high load times on their server, hopefully not due to us!
I really tried to use your plugin for my site. I was using it for a while...
Unfortunately I had to switch over to the Search Unleashed plugin as it produced better results when searching for specific terms.
