   When background highlighting is enabled the search results page shows only a list of "Edit" links--no titles or content is displayed.

   Yes - I can also confirm this; when highlighting is enabled it FINDS the TAGS in my IMAGES and displays MARK-UP on the page next to the images - SEE CODE BELOW - NOTE BOLD areas are the mark-up being displayed on the screen that should be HIDDEN.

   It also RENDERS the CSS - so if it finds a search-term in a H2 Title - it will NOT show as H2?

   I can also confirm this.
   This busts the css style, e.g. that is supposed to render a link as a button. Therefore the button won't show. Instead it shows parts of not rendered html code ;[
   Could not find a way to tell the plugin to exclude html tags from searching or just not highlighting them.
