[Plugin: RSVP Plugin] Works Great, but I'm having difficulty Importing

    Is anyone having problems importing the guest list? The plugin works perfectly for me when I manually enter the guests, but I would rather not do that for all of them.

    When I try to import the list the screen just changes to a blank screen. If I import a file that I know won’t be readable, like a csv, I will get an error that the file is not readable. I did find somebody’s sample file within this forum to try importing – and I actually got it to work… So is there some special formatting that I’m missing with my xls file? Or do you have to export the xls a particular way?

    I think it’s to do with the formatting of your sheet.
    You have used some cell formatting to colour things white / no borders etc.

    Use this file and work from it. Don’t format anything, just replace name with what you want, save, and import.

    I actually just gave up and bribed my son to add the names individually. 🙂 Thanks for your help, though, I’m guessing that the formatting either came from my online guest list or from working in Numbers on my Mac. I’ll definitely use this next time.
