• What do I need to do to change access of members of a wpml (wpml old version) site.

    The groups and actions:
1.) Administrator: Owner and technical support
2.) Editors: secretary can edit posts and upload images
3.) Registred Users: with access to protected resource (PDF download)
4.) Users: Rest of the world, only view website

Can I simply assign groups in the user manager, like Administrator for Group 1.) and thats it?
The restricted access to ‘pdf’ was already in use and worked fine.
Although registred users are all set to administrator role by not choosing any user role.
The image upload restriction, can somebody tell me how to do this?

The rolescoper explanations english is too tough for me and I still dont have an idea how to do it after having quickly read it.
I need a how to like the ones with goto WP-Admin->etc…

thank you for answering my questions.

You will need to assign roles separately for each language. This is necessary because each language actually creates a separate post in the database. Additional code would be required to automatically mirror a role to multiple languages, and Role Scoper does not have that code.
